Deaf Jamz

The Deaf Jamz section of Deaf Log is place for members to upload their signed music as well as other expressive content. We want to welcome everyone with an all-inclusive approach here (like good communities should), so we’ve added additional categories for lyrics as well. The reason for this, is so that members who perform Deaf Jamz can see what other members who perhaps don’t sign music like in music. It also allows folks who do sign music to add the lyrics to the page with their song. It’s all about giving members the ability to share something special.

Something else I might point out here- When you add a Deaf Jamz video/lyric, you have the ability to add additional categories. The Deaf Jamz category is for members to upload a Deaf Jamz video without specifically categorizing it. The best practice is to create a new category for your particular song if it is not already in the list. Simply click “Add Lyric” and you see the option I’m talking about here. SO- If you are signing a Country song, and “Country” isn’t in the list of categories, you’ll have the opportunity to add that category and be the first to upload that genre.

Uploading your Deaf Jamz here is special. What it tends to say is- I support Deaf Log and the Deaf Community and want my video to be recognized as a Deaf Log Original. These videos, Deaf Log holds in high regard because they are videos that reside on our server. Of course we are going to promote these videos more, because these videos on these pages have more value to our community. This is the section that gives a home to Deaf Jamz and her members, allowing everyone to interact together around signed music- Both Deaf and Hearing alike.

Deaf Jamz also has a powerful page editor which allows members to embed videos from YouTube and other sites, as well as upload images into the description/lyric area. You can do some amazing stuff here…with features like this, the sky is the limit, and only limited by our member’s creativity! That’s awesome stuff!

Deaf Jamz are also fan pages which link to your profile and everything can connect back to your YouTube Account, and all pages can be shared to hundreds of others sites.

Posting your Deaf Jamz here on Deaf Log makes it easier for your videos to be categorized and found on the web. On YouTube, the videos that are found easily there are the ones with hundreds of thousand views….Therefore, it benefits you more to bring your videos and fans to Deaf Log, and easier to gain new fans in the future- Folks who don’t necessarily use YouTube.
